We're putting the creative power in your hands with our Mischief In The Making project!

This is one-of-a-kind opportunity to design your very own Mischief Toys figure, as a community.

Each week as a community you'll vote on the entire design... from character and concept to the colorway and special features, even the box art... every decision along the way will be chosen by the Panel.

There's no minimum signup goal, and the figure will be limited to the number of Panel members. It will not be released to the general public, and it will never be made again!

The best part? Every Panel member will have their name etched directly inside the box, forever a part of the Mischief Toys legacy.

Because of the custom nature of the process, pricing will be higher than our standard figures... covering the costs of a small-scale run and all the details that make your creation truly limited and exclusive.

We will be keeping you updated with all of the artwork and every step of the way after polling is complete. You will truly be witnessing Mischief In The Making!

General Overview

What is Mischief In The Making, exactly?

Mischief In The Making is a first-of-its-kind concept that provides YOU - the fans - the power to help design your very own Mischief Toys figure. It’s more than just a product drop; it’s a Community Creation Collaboration that brings fans behind the scenes for a full-on creative and interactive experience.

Think of this as a backstage pass into the toy-making process, offering a peek into what it takes to create a collectible figure - from brainstorming to final production. It’s Mischief Toys’ way of letting the fans into the design room.

Participation is open to anyone who purchases a sign-up during the registration window.

How does it work?

This figure will be designed 100% by YOU, the fans. From character selection and colorway to special features, themes, and even box art - every decision will be made through community voting.

By signing up (for a one-time entry fee), you become part of a collaborative design team working directly with Mischief Toys and the artists to shape an exclusive figure - one that will only be made for participating members. You will work together to design a figure from start to finish - by voting in polls, sharing feedback, and shaping the creative process… you’ll help decide everything from the character and colorway to potential special features like glow or backlight effects.

Throughout the process, participants will receive regular updates as each poll shapes the direction of the figure. Once voting is complete, the final concept will be handed off to one of our talented artists to bring your creation to life.

The packaging will feature a special sticker marking it as a Mischief In The Making exclusive, the LE count, and will also proudly display the names of all participants printed inside the box. In short: this isn't just a figure - it's a piece of Mischief history, and it's unlike anything we've ever done before.

How much does it cost to join?

The cost will be $125 +tax. The membership fee includes full participation in the project and the finished figure delivered to your door (within the US, shipping outside of the US will be calculated).

Because this release is completely customized, it could end up being one of the most limited figures we’ve ever made. The final production run will exactly match the number of participants, and smaller runs often mean higher costs per figure. Since we won’t know participation levels until sign-ups close, we’ve priced this release higher than a standard Mischief Toys figure to account for those factors.

And because we’re Mischief Toys, you know we can’t resist adding our own twist. We take pride in making every experience worthwhile, and we’ll make sure you feel the value of being part of something this unique. After all… it wouldn’t be Mischief without a little extra fun.

Is this a recurring membership or a one-time project or could there be more Mischief In The Making rounds?

We don’t know what the future holds, but as of now it will be a one-time project. There could possibly be a round 2, depending on how round 1 goes.

Currently, this is a one-time membership for a single project. There may be more Mischief In The Making rounds in the future, but this particular project is a standalone experience.

What does the membership include?

Full participation in the figure design process
Access to exclusive polls and community discussion
Your name printed on the inside of the box
One limited-edition figure, designed by the group
One limited-edition pin, designed by the group
All manufacturing, materials, and shipping included (shipping in the US, shipping outside of the US is calculated)

Is there an age requirement to join?

Account holders must be 18 or older. Minors are welcome to participate in the Mischief In The Making experience as long as their account is created and managed by a parent or guardian, and they have permission to join in.

Can I suggest figure ideas or submit designs? Or is voting the only form of input?

While we always love hearing your creative ideas (and you’re welcome to email suggestions to help@mischieftoys.com for future projects), Mischief In The Making will be guided exclusively through preselected poll choices.

Why? Because we’re deeply familiar with our manufacturing limitations. As much as we’d love to bring every wild idea to life, this project needs to stay within the parameters of what’s actually possible to produce. That way, we can ensure the final figure is not only awesome - but actually gets made to our highest quality standards.

Is this figure guaranteed to be produced?

Unlike other similar-style projects out there, Mischief In The Making has no minimum participant requirement. Whether 50 people sign up or 150, the figure will still go into production. We will keep you updated along the way.

That said, smaller production runs mean significantly higher per-piece costs. To offset those costs (materials, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping), the membership price will be higher than a typical Mischief Toys release. But with that comes something truly special - a super limited, participant-only figure.

Will this exact figure ever be available again?

Nope, this exact design will be exclusively made for Mischief In The Making Panel members.

What molds will be available?

All existing and released molds will be made available with two exceptions - Kong Gastley and Malator. Kong Gastley is currently reserved for special events, and Malator is a Coven of Mischief exclusive.

Molds offered:

Classic Gastley (and multiple variants depending on final design), Tiki Gastley, Gargoyle Gastley, Emo Gastley, Cat Onesie Gastley, Uncle Gastley, Vampire Gastley, Lovesick Gastley, Demonstro, and Mortem.

How It Works

What platform will be used for voting and commenting?

Voting and collaboration will be done directly on our website (https://mischieftoys.com/) and access to the specific page will only be granted to those who sign up and pay the entry fee. More info to come!

Will this figure ever be released outside this group?

Nope! This figure will only be produced for those who sign up. The number of figures made will exactly match the number of Panel members.

Is there a cap on how many people can join?

There is no cap on how many can join, but the final piece count of the figure created will be exclusively limited to the number of participants (i.e. 100 participants result in a LE 100 figure), and only those who sign up and pay the entry fee will be eligible to participate.

Can I participate without voting or commenting?

While technically you’ll be considered a participant (and will receive the final figure) as long as you sign up and pay the entry fee, we highly encourage you to join in! After all, this is a Community Creation Collaboration... the more voices involved, the more exciting and unpredictable the journey becomes.

How will names be printed inside the box?

Each participant's name will be printed on the inside of the box. More details will be provided about formatting and options during the design process.

What happens if I don't like the direction the design takes? Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Simply put, no. Due to the custom nature of this project and the fact that your spot directly impacts production and costs, all sales are final. Once you sign up, you’re locked in for the full duration of the project... regardless of how the figure design evolves or the results of the polls.

By joining, you acknowledge and agree that the final design may not align with your personal preferences, and that’s part of the fun (and mystery!) of a group-created collectible. Please be sure you’re fully on board before entering - there will be no refunds, cancellations, or transfers once your membership is confirmed.

How does the group voting process work? Will results be shared publicly after each poll?

While the exact design process and participation is reserved exclusively for those participating, random updates (without exact details) may be revealed to the public.

Shipping & Delivery

When will I receive the final figure?

Please keep in mind, a typical figure production takes MONTHS to go from concept to delivery. However, participants will receive updates along the way as milestones are hit. After polling is complete, we anticipate receiving the final product in hand within 9 months of the final design being completed, but it truly varies depending on the design. We will keep you updated along the way.

Will I have to pay for shipping separately (US)?

Nope, shipping is built into the cost of the price! One entry fee, up front, and that's it.

Will I have to pay for shipping separately (International)?

Shipping will be calculated and paid for prior to shipping.

Can I update my address if I move during the process?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to update your shipping address before the figure ships to you. Please contact help@mischieftoys.com to update the address prior to the figure shipping out.

Will I be able to cancel or get a refund after signing up?

Can I see past examples of the Mischief in the Making experience?

This is the first ever Mischief In The Making experience, so there's no past examples to reference... but when you sign up you'll be shaping history!

Can I gift a membership to someone else?

Because each membership is tied to a specific name and Mischief Toys account for login and participation, memberships cannot be purchased as gifts or transferred to another person or account.

Can I buy more than one membership and receive more than one figure?

Yes... BUT each membership is linked to a single Mischief Toys account, so one account can only hold one membership.

If you'd like more than one figure, you'll need to create an additional Mischief Toys account with a separate email and purchase a separate membership through that account.
